Mar Seafood mussels are a wild mussel harvested off different parts of Maine’s coast and Chatham,
Cape Cod. After being harvested, the mussels are brought to our facility where they are cleaned, de-
byssed, and placed in our Wet storage system where the mussels are completely cleansed. During this
process, the mussels are separated into two sizes. “Chefs Choice” is the smaller of the two loved by
restaurants and chefs across the nation. “New England Jumbo” would be a larger mussel perfect for all
recipes and dishes. All of our mussels are boxed and iced before being shipped, making it easier to pack to any spec, including 2lb, 5lb, 10lb, 25lb, and 50lb.
